Currently there are 7 departments in Lingnan, which are Department of Economics, Department of Finance, Department of Risk Management & Insurance, Department of Public Finance & Taxation, Department of International Business, Department of Business Management and Department of Logistics Engineering and Management.  The undergraduate programs of economics, finance, public finance and taxation, international business and trade, insurance and logistic management were among the hottest programs in the province. In 2007, the admission mark for these programs ranked top 8 in Guangdong Province.

 

L(U)C has a total of 91 full-time teaching staff, among which 26 are professors and 34 associate professors, including 23 doctoral supervisors. 73% of the faculty has doctor’s degree and 80% of them have been to Harvard University, MIT, University of Minnesota, Cornell University of the U.S., and University of London of U.K. for research, further study, or for curriculum enhancements.

 

Since 2000, Lingnan faculty members have published 1214 theses on major academic periodicals, and they are currently undertaking 45 national research projects and 96 provincial research projects.
